The Micro-USB is based on Silicon Laboratories CP2101-CP2102 I.C.'s,
and has the world's smallest footprint for this type of
device. It uses a standard USB B connector to connect to your PC
using a standard AM to BM cable, and an 8 pin footprint at .1" centers
on your target board, to allow simple connect to your
breadboard or Micro board. The CP210x chip has a UART, and on-board
EEPROM built right it.
