anyone here know how to trace the IP of the poster?

I'd love to find his address and go smash his computer.

He won't be using his own computer, but a bunch of hacked PCs on the net.

BTW, I miss you guys, but I won't use a forum. At least not one that
doesn't have an RSS feed. Forums suck. Come back please! Alternatively,
start a Yahoo ML (which has RSS), then link it through gmane.org, which
gives it NNTP. Both are immune to sporge, and we'd be better connected
than ever. I've done this with a couple of lists, it's easy and works
well.

It has an RSS feed. Wayne G wrote up a small how-to post. It's actually
pretty simple.

The Yahoo forums are too prone to spamming.
