How accurate is the 24 hr interval required to be? To a few minutes or a
few nanoseconds?
Does the interval begin at an arbitrary time (e.g., at power-on), does
there need to be a start button, or is it required to synchronize to
some external event to begin the count?
Motors range from teensy cell phone vibrate motors up to, well, pretty
danged large. Do you need an active high (or low) trigger signal or a
full motor drive package for a ( )-sized motor of a ( ) type.
Is "rotate a specified amount" a measure of the motor shaft rotation
itself or of a load coupled through a reduction mechanism?
How precisely should the rotation be controlled? Is it open loop (turn
it on then off and hope) or does there need to be a closed loop control
system involved?
What is the cost of an under- or over-rotation event? The flower pot
gets not quite the right amount of water or the drawbridge ends up
misaligned and traffic backs up for hours.
What's up with the LED?
